BIRABUTO DESERT, SARASALAND — Stargazers, scientists, and conspiracy theorists are flocking to the arid Birabuto Kingdom following astronomers’ discovery of a strange light in Sarasaland’s night sky.
According to the Sarasaland Space Institute, the glowing orb doesn’t correspond to any known star, comet, or planet. In addition, it seems to be growing bigger, indicating that the interstellar object is traveling closer to the Royalands with each passing day.
While the SSI hasn’t identified the source of the light, observers have their own ideas. “It’s aliens. Definitely aliens,” says Torio Toadsoulkas, noted UFO enthusiast and local crackpot. Other guesses regarding the object’s identity include a comet, a meteor, and a mythological “Power Star.”
Sarasaland is no stranger to reports of extraterrestrial activity. For decades, champions of the weird and unexplained have argued that the pyramids that litter the Birabuto desert were built by visitors from another planet. So far, however, there’s very little credible evidence to support these claims.
